Daylesford is known as Australias spa and rejuvenation center.
In addition to offering a plethora of mineral springs and spas, they also offer beautiful gardens, antique shops, fine dining, walking and horseback riding trails, a railway, and a lake for boating or fishing.
This village is located only about an hour and a half away from Melbourne.
The architecture and gardens have a decidedly European influence.
The peak of Mount Macedon and the nearby Hanging Rock are actually part of a dormant volcano overlooking the village.
There is much to see and do here and plenty of great places to stay.
