Walhallas Star Hotel comes highly recommended from critics and guest alike. This is a quiet, relaxing hotel, unfortunately not suitable for children. There are twelve suites, that each have king-sized beds, balconies/garden decks, CD players, and a lounge. The Guest Lounge has a 24-hour bar, books, magazines, CDs, free internet, and a wood fire.

The Toorongo River Sanctuary is 150 acres of trails, rivers, bush, gullies, and hills. There are several different lodges available. The Redwood Family River Lodge has four bedrooms, a 4-person spa, two bathrooms, open fire, fully equipped kitchen, 42 plasma TV, DVD, CD, and incredible views of the mountains and river.
The Romantic River Lodges have most of the same amenities but are designed for two people instead. The environment around the Toorongo River Sanctuary is very scenic. You truly have to see it to believe it. This land in its natural form is simply breathtaking. The Toorongo River Sanctuary is working hard to become 100% energy self-sufficient and to educate the community about conserving our wildlife and their natural habitats. it is great that more and more accommodation options try to pursue this.
