The Port Fairy Folk Festival brings together more than 100 acts and plenty of visitors to Port Fairy and the Great Ocean Road.
Port Fairy is an old farming and fishing village.
The town offers beautiful views of the ocean waves drifting down the south-west coast of Victoria.
This is the very same south coast of Australia that the ships sailed through in the early years of their immigration.
During this time, many of the ships were wrecked along the rocks, but still today there is a fishing fleet that functions from the river.
It is a small village, but it has its significance.
With the beautiful people there and the magnificent scenery, it makes a perfect location for the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
